Isabelle was born in Wylie, Texas in 2002 and grew up with five other siblings. She was
homeschooled most of her life but found numerous volunteering opportunities in aquariums and nonprofit organizations in the area. From these experiences, she developed a love for the ocean that later inspired her to attend Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
After attaining a bachelor’s degree in marine biology, she plans to attend graduate school to study marine organisms and ecology. Isabelle joined HRI to gain experience in the field and currently studies phytoplankton and water quality to better understand the ecology of the bays in Corpus Christi.
In her free time, she enjoys writing, drawing, and swimming.
