Jae Clark is a current Undergraduate student at Tulane University pursuing a degree in Environmental Science and Economics paired with a minor in Spanish. She joined the Harte Research Institute’s Socio-Economic group in June of 2021, where she assists in the organization of the Socio-Economic Group's Blue Value Database and worked on projects including the U.S. Virgin Islands Ecosystem Services Approach to Support Hazard Mitigation and Resilience Planning. She values this experience in the Environmental Science and Economics field that will help solidify her topic of study for the next three years as an undergraduate student and the knowledge it will provide in future career endeavors.
Jae grew up in the Coastal Bend and has always cherished the amazing local flora and fauna. She is thrilled to be interning with HRI during the summer and working towards the preservation of the Texas Coast.
