Diana Del Angel is a PhD Candidate Coastal and Marine System Science working with HRI Endowed Chair of Socio-economics, Dr. David Yoskowitz.  She received a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Texas at Brownsville in 2008 and a M.S. from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 2011. Diana's research interests include understanding coastal environmental change, exposures to coastal hazards, and coastal management approaches. Her current work is assessing the socio-economic impact of storm surge under sea level rise in the Northern Gulf of Mexico and the benefits provided by coastal natural infrastructure such as wetlands.
