Nancy Ballard

Nancy Ballard is a Student Worker earning a bachelor's degree in biology at TAMU-CC. She is originally from Chandler, Arizona and moved to Corpus Christi to further her education. As a biology major, Nancy takes a great interest in conservation work and is also interested in animal sciences and nature. She enjoys taking an active role in the various TAMU-CC organizations and participating in events held by these organizations. Currently, Nancy is interning in the Coastal Ecosystem Process lab at HRI with the goal of earning hands-on experience in a field and lab setting along with gaining more knowledge of the Gulf of Mexico.

After completing her bachelor's degree, Nancy plans to work towards a master's degree in biology and hopes to continue her involvement with environmental conservation efforts.
